Signaling
SIP over TLS (port 5061) with SRTP media encryption. Kamailio-based SBC layer handles authentication, rate limiting, topology hiding, and jurisdictional routing via LERG-sourced LCR tables.
Media
RTPEngine media proxies in each POP handle transcoding (G.711/G.729/OPUS), DTMF relay, and SRTP bridging. Kernel-space forwarding achieves sub-millisecond jitter on loopback paths.
Redundancy
Active-active failover across all POPs. Anycast DNS with 10s health checks. SIP OPTIONS-based probing with automatic route bypass on 503/timeout. Zero single points of failure.
